Rules for international students (in brief)
- Non-EU students may work 140 full or 280 half days a year.
- During term, at most 20 hours a week to keep Werkstudent status.
- Jobs as a student assistant at your university usually don't count towards the 140 days.
- Self-employment is only allowed for non-EU students with permission.
- Students from the EU/EEA may work like Germans.
